2006年9月，[url=http://www.5ene.com/s?cl=1&t=6&ct=%E9%99%86%E6%B5%A9][u]陆浩[/u][/url]在同民航总局局长杨元元座谈时就曾表示，希望民航总局继续关心甘肃的民航事业，特别在加强民航基础设施建设、改善支线机场布局、更新支线机型、建设兰州、敦煌国际航空口岸等方面，能够给予更大的支持和帮助。民航方面也表示将充分考虑甘肃的发展条件和实际需要，尽最大努力支援甘肃民航事业的发展。
据悉，《兰州中川机场总体规划》已于去年8月通过专家评审，并将其定位为中型枢纽机场和欧亚航路国际备降场；而总投资约759万元的敦煌临时航空口岸则将于年内建成并开通。
