石良角浔江特大铁路桥全长1291.59米，是洛湛铁路广西段第二长桥，由于有13个桥墩位于水中，属于深水高墩技术复杂的特大桥，施工难度最大，技术含量很高。对于承建该桥梁的桥隧分公司来说，深水基础施工是该公司的首例。而且，因为特大桥的上部结构预制及造桥架设工序多，工艺复杂，使得浔江特大铁路桥成为一个难点工程。
　　桥隧分公司及项目部领导和技术人员十分重视，多次召开施工方案会议，研究深水施工方案，按照现场不同的施工情况，制定出各种不同的施工方案。经过桥隧分公司领导和技术人员的努力，工程先后克服了地质坚硬、有效施工时间短（2005年1月15日开工，期间由于洪水影响，水中桥墩停止施工209天）、基础型式复杂、深水空心高墩、江中其他项目相邻工程干扰等难题，采用技术先进的双壁钢围堰、64米梁造桥机及连续梁挂篮施工，高质量，高标准确保了浔江特大铁路桥主体顺利完工。（记者/肖道南通讯员/肖苗生孟亚西孔利）
