三 印度摩托车市场
印度的摩托车10年来一直处于稳步上升过程中,总产量已超过700万辆,其中
最主要的车型是两轮摩托车,占摩托车产量的75%左右,踏板车与三轮车的产
量都不是很大。与中国一样,印度是一个人口超级大国,目前人口10.3亿。人
均GDP530美元,农业人口占70%。印度35岁以下年龄段人口占70%,未来5年
,35岁以下年轻人有8.4亿,至少6亿的农村及城乡结合部人口需要使用简单的
动力机械替代步行、拉运货物,同时,城市的个体业主及新兴的中产阶级也是
摩托车的忠实用户,据不完全估计,未来几年,印度每年摩托车的需求量至少
能达到1000万辆以上。
按照发展速度的比率,我们也许有一个猜想:中国摩托车的高速增长期用了6年
,是否印度需要将近20年的持续高速增长期?这个时间应该是持续到2026年,
看起来机会是非常大的!作为全球摩托车工业的老大-中国,望着这么大蛋糕

Description of errors in students’ English writing
Introduction
English writing in China is considered unsatisfactory and problematic. General guideline in middle-school English teaching stipulated that students ought to have basic abilities in writing. However, their level of English writing is still low. Writing is regarded as a primary criterion of checking learner’s capability of applying language. However, English writing has been neglected for a long time. Almost in every classroom, you will see teacher imparting grammatical knowledge to students, but few imparting knowledge about writing to them. This paper will not focus on the pure grammar, but on the word, sentence, paragraph and chapter, which are combined to make up a composition. People have to be aware of the fact that writing is a long process. Simply depending on pure grammar could hardly improve students’ writing abilities; instead, we should combine the grammar teaching with the knowledge of writing teaching.
2. Description of errors in students’ English writing
“An error can be defined as a deviation from the norms of the target language”. It takes place as a result of lack of [URL=http://www.fcsgame.com/dofus-kamas.htm]Dofus Kamas[/URL]knowledge. It represents a lack of linguistic competence .A mistakes occurs when learners fail to perform their competence.
3. Problems involved in students’ writing
3.1 Improper choices of words
In writing, quite a number of students fail to choose and use the correct and appropriate English words. They could not discriminate the synonyms. The following examples are taken from students’ writings:
(1) In area, China is the third largest state in the world.
(2) The program has won the support of the whole land.
(3) China is my native nation.
(4) The company is of country-owned enterprise.
(5) They lived in a little town.
(6) I can never forget the small town where I spent my happy childhood.
The above sentences are unacceptable. Students mingle the meaning of words. Country, nation, state and land have more or [URL=http://www.dofus-kamas.cc]dofus kamas[/URL]less the same denotation and may all be translated into guojia in Chinese, but their connotations are quite different. Country refers to an area of land and its population and government, nation emphasizes the people of a country, state refers to the government or political organization of country, and land is less precise but more literary and emotive than country. Small and little are often interchangeable, but there is some difference in emotional coloring between them. Small is objective, while little may imply a feeling of fondness. Therefore, the above sentences could be revised as the following:
(1) In area, China is the third largest country in the world.

the support of the whole nation.
(3) China is my native land.
(4) The company is of state-owned enterprises.
(5) They lived in a small town.
